Conformation, otherwise known as dog showing, is a favorite activity for many whippet owners. In these events, qualified judges evaluate each dog, looking at structure, movement, and overall appearance, to determine which one is closest to the breed standard. Successful dogs can earn the title of CH (Champion), and champions may continue to compete for standings, group placements, and Best in Show.
