Race Secretary's Meet Report

We had a perfect day for our race meet. The weather was not too hot and the track conditions were superb. This is an ideal place for racing our hounds.

The meet was won by Chuk, he was really in form and won all of his races impressively. He truly deserved to be the top dog in the meet. Bogart and Neoptolemus finished in second and third place. They both ran hard and very competively. At the end of the day only one half point separated the two of them. Fourth place went to Cruiser, he too very ran very tough. Our high score lady for the day was IO. She ran beautifully and took the fifth spot. Patches is improving every time she runs and gave a fine showing with her sixth placement. Always a tough contender, Willie, finished seventh, with Kenya close behind in eighth place. Rounding out our top ten and finishing ninth was the very pretty little black girl, Dolce. Tenth spot went to Miss Shelby.

We only had one puppy entry Kekei. She ran hard and enthusiastically. She shows a lot of promise as a future racing star.

It was a nice day of racing and hopefully enjoyed by all. Congratulations to all you happy owners, and my sincere thanks to everyone for their help.
